i tried starting the game last night, and sims would not open up it would come off screen as if it would start and go right back to the EA app and says that It's an issue on your end. I tried repairing, updating, and restarting, but nothing works. I would greatly appreciate if this can be sorted out. i added an attachment to show what im talking about.
Hey everyone, I managed to fix the issue — it was entirely caused by the latest Windows 11 update. To solve it, follow these steps (this worked on my PC):
- Open Windows 11 Settings
- Go to the System section
- Select Recovery
- Under Recovery options, choose to "Go back to the previous version of Windows" (before the update) Note: You can only do this within 10 days of installing the update. After that, you’ll have to wait for a new update or hope EA fixes the issue. Hope this helps — enjoy your games!
