As the title says the Star Wars Jedi : Fallen Order doesn't launch from steam with the new EA app since it completely overwrites Origin and uninstalls it, and the app itself doesn't have the game on my account.
Yes, i have triple checked and yes it is within the same account i'm writing this topic from.

This solved my Problem!
I suspect that my Problems with the game were due to similar reasons:
I had the game still installed through the EA App from a time where i had XBOX Gamepass/EA Play membership.
The location in the registry fits the location the game was when i had it installed through the EA App.
So either the registry just doesn't change when reinstalling the game, or the registry is just wrong by default.
It's a shame that EA hasn't fixed this, as it seems like it is a fairly trivial thing.
EA, please fix this problem and save us all a lot of headaches!
