2 days agoHi there, it's generally more reliable to install and play games from an internal hard drive because it has fewer compatibility issues compared to external drives, especially over USB. This reduces the chances of crashes, loading delays, or failed launches. However, if your only option is to use the external hard drive, there are a couple of things we can try to fix this:
- Make sure that your external drive is formatted as NTFS
- Run the EA app as admin and temporarily disable antivirus.
- Make sure the External hard drive is always assigned to the same drive letter (e.g., If you used E: to install the game, make sure it's being recognized as the E: drive again next time you connect it)

USB Port or Power Issues: Some external drives don’t get enough power from certain USB ports, especially on laptops. Try a different USB port (preferably USB 3.0) or use a powered USB hub.
