Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

When I try either of the two ways to repair the game (either using the meatballs from the game in my library, or selecting the game then selecting manage, when I click "repair game" nothing happens. Not even an error. There is no message, no download activity, nothing. I have tried multiple times. I have tried running the app as administrator

  • Hello @kaitzi,

I'm assuming that you're playing in the EA app? Could you try doing the App Recovery and then trying repair again?

For that, you have to click on the three lines in the upper left corner, go to Help, and then from there App Recovery.

If that doesn't help, let me know!

Thanks - I'd tried quitting the EA app and restarting it with no luck.  Before I was able to try your advice it did the usual "crash when the computer goes to sleep" and the ensuing restart seems to have fixed it....

  • Just to add, I had the same problem. I took this advice and it fixed it straight away. Thank you!

  • I did this but it’s not working it been repairing for a day I’m not sure what else to do

    Hello @carolinapl,

please try to do the app recovery and then try repairing the game again. Starting the app as administrator and adding it as an exception to your antivirus could also help.

This post is pretty old at this point though, so I'll close it in accordance to our rule about necroposting. If your issue persists, please open a new post here in the forum and always look at the date of the creation of the thread!
