Help! Saved games not appearing

I play the sims every week and ever since I bought a new computer downloaded the ea app whenever I turn my computer off and go to play none of my games are there?! I am absolutely save it’s driving me nuts. If I just lock my screen and play the next day the game is there but if I turn the computer off the game disappears. It’s really starting to annoy me, any idea where to start here?! For context I have no mods just standard sims purchased packs and content and I play on a brand new iMac
