I found a strange half solution. I connected through my phone’s hotspot and started the EA App, and it connected. Then I switched back to my normal LAN connection, and it can still connect.
The next problem I'm facing is that the downloads keep failing. I think it's a combination of EA and my ISP.
It's working:
I did a:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
netsh winsock reset
reboot and it works.
