Last update is stuck at 3%
Hey, I saw that there was an update this morning. I tried to launch it but it's stuck at 3%. I've restarted the EA app multiple times but each time I have the same problem.

I am having a issues updating my sims 4 game. I have tried repairing it and it will get to 51% then give an "unknown error", I have tried updating the game and it gets to 3% preparing and either gets stuck or gives an unknown error. I am using the PC app and window 11
Fixes I have tried include: clearing cache, logging out and back in, restarting app, restarting the computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the ea app itself, and going offline and back online but the issue still continues. it has been going on for over 48hrs and is beyond frustrating

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems updating your The Sims 4. I see you've already tried a couple of steps, but here are a few more things you could try:
- Make sure the drive where Sims 4 is installed has enough free space.
- Run the EA app as administrator: Right-click the EA App shortcut → Run as Administrator.
- Temporarily disable Antivirus/Firewall
- Pause OneDrive syncing (If OneDrive is syncing your Documents folder, it can block file access);
- Right-click the OneDrive icon in the system tray.
- Select Pause syncing.
