Hello all,
I've tried removing the EA App, Sims 4 install fine, but then obviously wants to update, but it doesn't start.
I also repaired the game, but it only repairs the base game and then gets stuck with the icon being a lovely yellow, but no error message either..
There is no error message or any indication why it's not updating either..
I get to the part where I accept the terms of play, and then nothing..
Help?!

Is it getting stuck at "preparing" when it's trying to update, or is it just not showing any sort of progress at all?

There is no progress at all and no suggestion that it's doing something.
Community ManagerGot it, thanks! Have you had the chance to try clearing the cache for the EA app to see if that helps? For more info on how you can clear it check out the EA Help website.

Sorry, I should have mentioned this in my first post, I tried that yesterday, along with restarting my laptop etc.
I tried to install the new sims 4 update but nothing happens. I select update, then continue and nothing happens.
I managed to get it to work.
I removed the Sims and then installed the game again without any add ons, this worked really well and everything updated and installed.
I hope that it will work for you as well.
