Something went wrong... when trying to log into the beta EA desktop

Solved it by resetting the password of the account and directly logging into the EA Games Desktop App. 

@CooLGaMeRoo7still can't login my ea account through the EA Desktop App after resetting the password, already re-install too and nothing.

I already try using the old EA app too called "Origin" and that app also preventing me to login, the Origin app said "Online login is currently not unavailable". But my account can login in ea website.

That could indicate that the issue is not with the account or password @SHBR1111.

Please try the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure that Origin is up-to-date - you can download it here.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC.
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings (even if you don't use IE, Origin does).
• Untick the options in the LAN Settings.
• Clear Origin Cache Data.
• Reset the Windows Host File.
• Reboot your computer.
• Flush DNS.

If that doesn't fix the issue, please perform a malware scan on your system and try again.

How about trying a Clean Boot of Windows and only starting up EA Desktop without any other apps? The other player had the same issue due to another program running.

This happend to me, i've fix it by turning off my vpn.  

I just use my PC, I'm not a comp person. EA needs to fix their app ! Clean boot ? My PC person charged me 80 bucks for that ! EA App wont offer an option to sign in !

Thank you to the person who posted the link to an origin that did not direct me to EA app only. The reason I tried to get a fresh install of origin in the first place, is because ALL of my Sims 3 expansion packs were missing on origin. And they're Sill missing and wont update. It seems I may have my sims 4 games back, but I wont know until I try to play. I feel robbed at every turn by this, and how long before origin and my sims 4 games also don't work, again ? Only the people on the forums are Ever helpful ! EA help is useless. It's not right to treat people this way !
