Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order (Steam-PC) will not Start & BAD Tech Support!
This is now the FIFTH time I’m trying to get somebody (ONE PERSON) from EA "Technical Support" to help me with regards to my issue which I am attaching below with my response that I sent previously but no one seems to be looking. Each time I reach out to EA, I seem to be only able to e-mail rather than a live chat, and for the past 2 WEEKS, I have gotten 4 e-mails from 4 different people asking the same exact questions to which I (patiently) provide the exact same details/symptoms! This is extremely frustrating and NEED HELP!
Original Case issue:
Cannot launch Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order for even the first time. Uninstalled/reinstalled 5 times with no success. Getting error "There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game". This was purchased and downloaded via Steam, but support is supposed to be provided by EA!
And in response to each "support" person's question, I do have the EA app and it has no issue in that part. As I stated several times, I have uninstalled and reinstalled this game at least FIVE times with the same issue. It also seems that I can only install this game via steam. I also would like to speak to one person not five asking me the same questions. I need this solved ASAP. Here is what I just sent the other day to their support with no response.
I ALREADY performed the steps given below:
1. https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
3. https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/pc-graphics-troubleshooting/
ALSO
I was trying something different and getting the following error when launching that C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Fallen Order\SwGame\Binaries\Win64\SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe:
System Error
The code execution cannot proceed because X3Daudio1_7.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem
After 5 installs/uninstalls/reinstalls why am I getting this error?? and yes I already had the EA app running in the background..
So far I have not gotten the support I expected ☹️
Note - I do NOT want yet another person just sending me generic steps like the last 5 people - Why am I getting the above .dll error? Is that the actual reason it will not launch after several re-installs and verifications? If so, why is this file not included?? How can I get this file?? Has anyone ever encountered this issue? For the $$ spent I would think there would be better support ☹️
Regards,
MJ

It appears the .dll is part of DirectX, so you might be able to try installing a DirectX runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
It seems like DirectX is also included in Windows, so you could try running Windows update to see if that fixes it. Or use the System File Checker to check for corrupted system files by running the command "sfc /scannow" in a command prompt.
