Unable to Launch Command and Conquer
Hello, I am a GamePass user that is trying to play Command and Conquer.
When I open the game using the Xbox app, it launches the EA Desktop application and then attempts to launch the game.
The EA app warns that it will need permission to play the game, I click "OK" but do not receive any prompts to grant permission.
The C & C launcher opens, when I click on Red Alert it then crashes with:
Exception code EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
Exception occurred at 0004D9B6
I've gone through many troubleshooting steps, I've tried setting both the game client and EA launcher to use admin priviledges in compatibility mode, I've tried reinstalling, tried launching the .exe directly, none of it works.
Does this game work for anyone?
