Unable to Launch Command and Conquer

Hello, I am a GamePass user that is trying to play Command and Conquer. 

When I open the game using the Xbox app, it launches the EA Desktop application and then attempts to launch the game. 

The EA app warns that it will need permission to play the game, I click "OK" but do not receive any prompts to grant permission.

The C & C launcher opens, when I click on Red Alert it then crashes with:

Exception code EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.

Exception occurred at 0004D9B6

 

I've gone through many troubleshooting steps, I've tried setting both the game client and EA launcher to use admin priviledges in compatibility mode, I've tried reinstalling, tried launching the .exe directly, none of it works.

 

Does this game work for anyone?

    @EA_Atic Command & Conquer™ Remastered Collection. Red Alert.

    I just checked again today after the EA Launcher update and the game launched and plays correctly now!

    If you are using Command and Conquer Remastered we are all experiencing that problem since the last EA launcher update. As far as I can tell there is no fix yet and do not know when one is coming.

    @EA_Atic This is affecting everyone that plays this game. When are we going to get a fix?

    I just checked again today after the EA Launcher update and the game launched and plays correctly now!

    Is this fixed for everyone else? I tried everything from what I can gather online and nothing worked. Is there a solution or do we wait for an update?

    C&C works on old computer under Origin, update to the new EA app. and it will not launch and they will not help.

    could we all get a refund..?.

    for me is not working.. Ea App says Game failed to lunch....

    I have Play and every time I open the app to play Command and Conquer, I get the message " things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try to solve the problem." I've turned in multiple tickets for the error with no response, will it ever be fixed? Bad business for a paying customer not to get customer service. Everything worked fine with Origin.
