Unable to play purchased game. Getting Error Message "There was a slight hiccup"

Sorry for not seeing your reply first. And thank youu soo muuch! Your method worked well! At first, I still had the issue then I restarted my PC and now the issue is gone! Thanks a lot man.. now I want to try if I can inject my It Takes Two game files into the installation folder as I have backed up my game files before I uninstalled it

@Longstriderobinn @Budgie7455880, when you have enough drive space available, can you please try the following? 
I have heard that this workaround might work for some:

- When in the EA Desktop app, search for Apex Legends and try to download the game

- When it's downloading/installing, cancel the process

- Try to download the game that you initially wanted to download to see if you still get the issue

I've been using Xbox Game Pass on my PC for a pretty long time without issue. Now, however, I can't get any of my EA Sports games that have previously been installed to launch. It wants me to download them again. I tried that on my laptop and it didn't do any good.

I get this message 'There was a slight hiccup and we couldn't finish installing ____'.  Nothing does any good. Restart. I uninstalled the EA Sports app and reinstalled it. Nothing.

I actually bought the Battlefield 2042 for PC. So, I own the PC version. It's not a trial from Game Pass. I have several others that don't work either.

My Xbox Game Pass games from Microsoft do still work.
