Verify installed games on EA desktop.

I have legitimate copy of Star Wars: Squadrons on my Epic Game Store account. It was claimed as one of the "Free Games with Epic" back in November 2022. The game is installed on my system. Proof of all if this including my e-mail receipt for the game are included in the images. I censored my e-mail in the receipt for obvious reasons, but can proove if required that the email this was sent to is the same e-mail linked to both my EGS and EA account if required.

The problem I have is that, for some reason, the EA desktop add doesn't recognise the install. When I try to launch the game through the EGS launcher, EA Desktop want's to install the game all over again. If I try to launch the game directly by clicking on the .exe file, I get an error message that reads as follows;

"You do not have access

This title may have been downloaded to this device by anther user who owns the game. Log into a different account or restart the app to try again."

That is nonsense, I'm the only person who uses this computer and there is only on login for it, that being mine. Nobody else has logged into the EA app or Origin on another EA account on this computer either.

This would be OK if I could verify the game files using the EA desktop app, but as far I know the EA Desktop app has no such feature. I know Origin had that, so thank you very much for forcing me to uninstall it for the sake of the new EA Desktop app.

So what am I supposed to do now? I refuse to delete the game then reinstall it because;

1. That's time consuming and inconvenient, especially for people who don't have fast internet connection.
2. Without linking the game's files to the EA desktop launcher, I can't be certain that the game will uninstall properly and that could cause issues with the new install.
3. How can I be sure the EA desktop app won't reject the new install anyway, like it has this time?

This is a joke. The EA desktop app needs to have a verify game files feature patched in.
