F1 24 launch causes full loss of audio

I recently got back onto my new pc after a flood took out my windows 10 machine.  Game worked fine and I never had a single audio issue.  I am now launching F1 24 on my windows 11 machine and the audio for everything goes silent.  I've disabled all other audio devices and have checked that my headset is the default device.  This doesn't happen in any other game.  Does anyone have any idea what could be happening?
