Account disabled.

So, I just came back to EA for the Battlefield 6 Beta and it just so happens that my old account which I don’t even recognise the email for has my Xbox linked to it. I can’t unlink it so I can link it to my new account since the account is disabled. Any help? Or has anyone else also have this problem?

I should add that I tried using the email I would’ve used to sign into an old EA account, but it didn’t recognise it at all when I tried to grab the password.

I'm having the exact same problem and so are a lot of other people. It's like we're being punished for not playing EA games for a while.

Yeah this entire situation is ridiculous. I've been seeing people say they've had to make a new PSN account. Forget that,  I'm not getting rid of a 10+ year PSN account just to play a single game. EA is out of their minds even suggesting that. If EA can't unlink an old account from my PSN then I'm just not going to play any EA games moving forward. I know all the login information for my EA account but It doesn't matter because EA decided to change my email to "disabled.ea.com" which makes it impossible to access. I hope EA learns from this or they will just drive a huge amount of players right back to Call of Duty. We shouldn't have to deal with this nonsense. There are already thousands of people returning Battlefield 6 because they can't access their accounts. The fact that we can spend so much money on a video game just to be told we can't use it because of some dumb EA account linking failure is wild and EA should be embarrassed that in 2025 they still haven't figured out how to deliver a good customer experience.

having the same issue, none of us should have to make new console accounts just to play these games. I already "own" several EA games and I can't even play them. If they can't fix an account issue then I don't see the point in playing their games anymore. I haven't heard a thing from EA support in 3 days about the issue.

Wait, they are suggesting that you get rid of the whole account just to play a single beta? Nah man, that’s crazy.

I should’ve known that EA would pull something. I’ve tried scanning the QR Code as well that comes up when you try to get into the beta; Error 404, I just want to know why if you don’t play an EA game for a couple of months/a year or so they just outright disable the account without at least removing the linked Xbox gamer tag, you would’ve thought they’ll have at least done that.
