Account got Snatched(?) And EA Support - Others affected
Hi everyone
This literally had made me to log in to another account just to type this out after two rounds of not being able to fix it through ordinary EA Support. Dont really know what to do.
Wednesday morning, I woke up to a Email from EA (see pictures) which basically was them giving my email adress a restoration link of my account. They used a name "Jonas", which is not my name and it clearly says another name on my EA account.
I didnt think much of it, since obviously I should have get notified by not only my mail but also my phone that my account is about to get breached. Until the evening of the same day, when I realized I couldnt get into my account with my Email adress that was linked to the account. Trying to restore the account, Im getting the information that there is no account linked to that email account.
Thats when I responed to Marc Rs email about this, which was sent to my, but till this day I havent got a responding. I also tried using EA support twice and both telling me that I cant get my account back (first ea support told me even that theres was no, and has never, been an account linked to my email). I told them everything, every single billing, every credit card, every email and phone number to ever exist on that account. But nothing helped.
I even have proof of the guy changing my EA ID (from Draidyx -> Flensfylke) through apexlegendstatus since my account is linked there. And dude still has my every social linked on apexlegendstatus which clearly tracks to me (check 2nd picture). But even that wasnt enough. I wanted to provide months of content from twitch of me literally playing on that account day in and day out and still nothing. Almost 4000 hours gone, money spent.
Now looking at the bigger names in the scene, since its happening to them aswell. But atleast they're getting helped by higher ups eventhough everything they explain literally happend to me aswell.
- Getting a email about restoration link
- Informed that theres no account linked to that EA ID
- Unable to get it back.
I Dont really know what else to do, I just want my account back and I literally cant do it by myself, by social media or even by EAs own support. At this point Im just shouting out loud and praying for someone to hear me.
