Banned with no reason given shows as no case open but still banned in game
I’m hoping someone here has been through something similar or knows what to do next.
After playing the Battlefield 6 beta on PS5, I suddenly got an indefinite ban for a violation linked to PC — which is strange because I’m on PS5 and I’ve never owned or used a PC for gaming. It looks like my account might have been compromised or incorrectly linked somewhere.
After 2 months of no answer to my appeal, EA Support live chat advised me to close my first appeal, which now shows as “fixed” with no penalty history, but my account is still banned and I haven’t had a single update in over two months.
Because of this, I can’t play the game or get a PlayStation refund (which has to be within 24 hours of launch). I’m stuck waiting on EA with no communication at all.
Has anyone else had success getting a situation like this resolved? Any tips for getting an actual response or escalation from EA would be hugely appreciated.
