Battlefield 6: Mystery Account - Xbox

Hello folks,

I wish I could speak to a human being and resolve this issue, but here we are...2025.

I do not play a lot of EA games that require a link, or constant communication to this EA app...

So the issue I have started with clicking the Battlefield 6: Open Beta game on Xbox and was brought to the title screen. Excitement abound, I clicked play. The next screen was a 'Reset your Password' with a QR code and a huge 'Close' button. I used the QR code and got to an 'Error 404' page on EA. Navigating my way through I find out my xbox account for '4f****@disable.ea.com' is unable to be reached due to some old link. 

I logged back into my old account, which I have had since 2010. I checked what my account is linked to....it is linked to nothing. I then clicked the icon to link it to my xbox, and after logging in and giving a verification code, it brings me to the screen that alludes that it is linked to my xbox account and uses this 4f****@disabled...etc.

It is a confusing circle **bleep** because, it seems like at one time EA account was connected to my xbox, which I have reset the password for, and yet, EA is saying 'no' and I cannot seem to access the beta. 

Is/has this become a common issue? Or, am I in EA purgatory?
