the game is rated Mature, which means that children are not allowed to play the game. Even as a parent, it's not possible to circumvent the mature rating on an underage EA account. Here is an article about child accounts at EA, where this is also mentioned.
Yeah but Battlefield 2042 never did this, or had any issues.

So every parent that attempts to do the right thing and give their kid a child account gets punished. Yet any child whose parent doesn't pay attention and lets the child have an adult account can continue. Absolute **bleep** from EA.

Why are we allowed to purchase the game for our child, but not allowed to give them permission to play. Sounds like a complete scam. I suggest ya’ll offer refunds.

Scuba_Si If a minor is playing on an adult account they are breaking the rules. If they get caught there could be consequences for the account.

Your statement is completely irrelevant to what I said. Refunds should be issued. Every parent has the sole right to determine what their child should or shouldn’t be able to play, not a game developer. If this is to be restricted, the game should not be purchasable if the account is unable to play the game. That is common sense.
