Can’t connect to ea server

Every time I try to log on to ultimate team it keeps saying ea servers are unavailable right now. 
any idea why?

    I can login in to my ultimate team but every time I try to edit my lineup it says   "OUR SERVERS CANNOT PROCESS YOUR REQUEST then it takes me back to the main menu
