Lost Apex Account

I just recently tried to play apex on steam and I tried to bring my 3 year old apex account over to pc, it said i had to merge my accounts because i already had an existing steam account so i merged them. Everything was fine until I loaded up the game and I was reset back to lvl 1 with no legends unlocked, no skins, and none of my heirlooms.I thought it was just a steam thing and it didn't really merge my accounts but just slapped my gamertag on a new account, that was until I loaded up my Xbox and found that it really did reset my Xbox account. Please tell me if I can recover my things 🙏
