Restricting players from Syria

Dears at EA,

As the American and European sanctions on Syria were lifted when are you planning to remove the restrictions on Gamers from Syria? is there any timeline or expectations?

    We know this can be frustrating for players in those impacted locations. If for whatever reason the embargoes, sanctions, or laws are changed to allow your location to access our library, we’ll work hard to get you access as soon as possible. 

    We’ll keep this page updated with the locations that are impacted.

    After US and Europe lifted sanctions on Syria many sites and launchers lifted blocking on Syrian IPs but some launchers including EA is still blocking our IPs

    is there any estimated time to solving this problem ?

    I was shocked. I bought Bf5 on my Steam account and downloaded it just to find out later that I can't even connect to the EA services and servers. this is really infuriating, not only for the money I spent because it wasn't that much but I was really excited to get back to the game again (since I bought it even though I had it for free using the Amazon Prime deal a few years ago)

    Can someone look more into this? this is actually insane, the whole middle east can play but a specific country? for what? sanctions? they are already lifted. 

    Thanks for reading all of my rant.

    on july 1 2025 , the president of united states of america has signed an order to lift all sanctions and embargos off syria.

    after that announcment many syrian gamers had some hope to be finally recognized and be able to play without shabby solutions , but we faced a wall of games ban

    as a syrian i cant even make an EA account , cant log in to the games i bought or have fun at all , help me with this problem and let our voice reach the policy makers so we can play a game like any human being on earth

    Hey there, while sanctions have been lifted it will be some time before access to EA games is available in Syria. 

    As soon as we have any more information we'll let you know.

    Do you plz have an update about syria ban? 

    Using VPN really ruining our experience it makes the ping goes from 60 to 90 or 100 

    Giving us any hope on the matter is really appreciated
