    Hi there,

    Since you don’t have access to your email address, please use the Contact Us button at the bottom of the EA Help page to reach our support team. They can try to help recover your account.

    To help them recover your account as quickly as possible, have this info ready:

    • the original email address on your EA Account
    • any usernames that are linked to your EA Account, like your EA ID, Xbox Live Gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID
    • any invoice numbers from games you’ve bought through an EA platform, like the EA app.

    I’m having a very similar issue, except in my case the old EA account is now showing as deactivated/disabled.

    The email address linked to the account was my old university email, which was permanently deactivated when I left the university, so I cannot receive the verification or password reset code.

    I know the original email address and EA ID, and I also have an original Origin purchase confirmation from 2016 showing the EA account/email, the game purchased, date, price and invoice/order number. So I can provide proof of ownership if needed.

    I have already contacted EA Support, but I was told that I need to reset the password through the old email address, which unfortunately no longer exists.

    Since you mentioned that the original email, EA ID and invoice numbers can be used to help recover an account, would this also apply to a deactivated account where the original email address is permanently unavailable?

    Is there any way to have the account manually verified/recovered or escalated to the appropriate team? I’d really appreciate any advice.

      I’m sorry to hear that your old university email is no longer accessible and that this has made account recovery more difficult.

      Unfortunately, account-related issues can only be handled by our Support team. I’d recommend contacting them again and explaining that your original email address is no longer accessible, along with any proof of ownership you have.
