Same here, EA are just the worst company for stuff like this. I can't change my email on steam because its a once you connect an EA account to a platform, there's zero chance of changing it. It's locked FOREVER...YES, I KNOW. The email I used when signing up to steam in 2011 is no longer around, doesn't exist I've tried EA help, and failed. They still let me purchase games on steam alright, off course they would, but change an email address....NOPE!
I get your frustration it took me a couple of hours. But I have managed to get this sorted today, as I just had to remember the email account used and few other minor details and it got sorted, albeit on second time of trying.
