Error Launching Game (EA Play)

Hello there,

I bought EA play on steam a few days ago but I am having trouble starting the games. I downloaded Battlefront II but had the trouble message which you can see below. I deleted the game and downloaded it again but had the same problem. Then I tried to download again but this time from origin app but app forwarded me to steam downloader and had the same problem again. I wonder if anyone had this problem or anyone who can help me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

    @EA_Cade  I shutted down all the firewalls and security programs (including windows') and now I can run the games. You can close the topic, thanks!

    Hi @BombasticDaPro,

    Gotcha, if you right click Battlefront in the Origin library do you have an option called Repair available?

    Hi @BombasticDaPro,

    In Steam, do you see the option to Verify Game Files?

     

    1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
    2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
    3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files button.
    4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

    @EA_Cade Hello Cade, did what you asked for but unfortunately didn't work, still getting the same error message. Verified the game files and tried to play it but it forwarded me to origin again and gave me the same error message.

    I am having the same problem. I couldn't figure it out no matter what I did. I paid money for nothing, downloaded the game. EA Play hasn't worked for me at all.
