I am having the same issue. Came back to SWTOR for the new update, tried to subscribe using the same card I've been using for years... and it's giving the same error. Same as you, the card works completely fine everywhere else. I never had this problem in the past subscribing. Truly odd. They are gonna lose potential players by being this neglectful. 🙄

    Remove the card from your payment methods - better remove all payment methods you have saved. Then next day try using the card again. Somehow for some reason this worked for me.
