California/Southern California Connection Issues

There currently seem to be a lot of issues for players from California/Southern California connecting to Ultimate Team in general. I'm based in San Diego and keep getting disconnected from servers just browsing the menu and also when an opponent quits a game resulting in me getting the loss. It's been this way for the past few days now and I know I am not the only player experiencing this. I've tried looking for the status of the LA server, but have not been able to find any information on it. I would assume this is the issue as no other regions seem to be experiencing these issues.

Would love EA to give some more insight on this as the game is unplayable for me and many others currently.

Lastly, I have no issues with my own internet. According to EA's internet connection tester, I score 97/100...

  • im based from san diego and have had the same issue since friday. It seems its only the ultimate team crashing/freezing. I tried playing seasons and was able to play 5 games without any issues but as soon as I try UT my game disconnects from the servers. I have a 95/100 on EA's internet connection tester. I hope EA follow up on this soon

  • Unfortunately they don’t care and they won’t fix it sorry guys I’ve been having this issue too but they genuinely do not care as long as you already spent your money on the game they don’t care because they are greedy and lazy. Spoke to one of their customer service agents and the guy was just like sorry then he said call your wifi provider. Makes no sense but shows how much they care. Switching to any other game now cause I’m never buying an EA game again and I think you guys shouldn’t either cause dealing with this for as long as it’s been going on is actually mind blowing.
