Consistent game crashing and server connectivity

Consistently since the start of the game, I have been kicked out of matches (while winning/losing/drawing), with either the players just completely not moving, soft locking into the pause menu in-game, or overall just the game crashing. Many of these games have been in the weekend league, resulting in me being greeted with a loss and that infuriating "DNF modifier" message whenever I open up ultimate team. I know I am not the only person who experiences an issue similar to this. 

For instance, just today I was playing weekend league and the game started to lag like crazy, followed by me literally switching to the team I was facing. How does that even happen?? I know there's probably nothing that can be done about this besides EA fixing their servers, but that's been an ongoing issue since almost a decade, so if there are any fixes let me know!
