I can open the game up to the point where I have to select my profile. Immediately after I select the profile my screen turns grey and the game then crashed, however there is nothing that says your game has crashed on the screen and iv been trying to fix it all day and I haven't been able to.
Please help.

Hi Sorry I didn't see you reply, I was on Holiday.
Yes my eafc 24 is still broken with the same problem, I got my friend to log onto my account and it had the same problem for him, so I believe it is a problem with my account.
If your still free to help I would be very grateful.
p.s this is my actual account connected to my steam. the other one is just a random one I made.
Community Manager@VXIEclipse If it is account related, we would need to reach out to support. We cannot see account related issues here. However, if it is a profile issue, I would try the following and see if these change.
First, Let's try clearing out corrupted files. From the main in-game menu, navigate to Customize > Profile > Delete to bring up the game's file list. Delete all files except Online Pro-files, and Any files with Career or Journey in the name, These are Career or Journey Mode saves and will not be re-downloaded.
Navigate to customize>online settings> matching-making options> change the approximate matching-making location option.
i have the same problem and its really weird because i was playing earlier today and now it just randomly started doing that

i had the same problem just now and I was reading through these comments and saw someone say it was a account based problem so I logged out of my account and it instantly went passed the grey screen then it gives you the option to log back into your account and it works again not sure if you have to do it every time you load the game
