I won a PlayStation tournament because the opponent didn’t join however lost?

I was in the final of a PlayStation tournament and the opponent hadn’t joined in the 5 minute window yet I was given second place and told I lost yet I was the only one who joined the game and I received no ea points.

please could someone help me resolve this so I can receive my ea points
