It appears that EA has done something server side that has resolved this issue. It also appears to have fixed the issue on previous Fifas.
Thankyou for finally resolving this EA.

@Josh12389 Where are you seeing something saying your device is banned. Or are you seeing the same message as everyone else?

Based on the replies today it looks like this is a solely an Xbox issue. Hopefully that assists the devs in narrowing down a cause.
