There are two major things I was really hoping to see in the EAFC 26 Career Mode deep dive — PlayStyle customization and more creative control over kits and club identity.
First, we need the ability to add or change PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ for any player, just like we can already upgrade skill moves or weak foot. If that’s still not possible this year, Career Mode will once again feel incomplete and frustrating. Player development should offer deeper, long-term control.
Second, kit and badge customization needs serious improvement. We should be able to edit kits for any club — whether we create a new one or use a licensed authentic team. I understand there are branding restrictions, but some smart rules could make it work — like locking the home kit’s main colors, or not allowing changes to manufacturer (Nike stays Nike, for example).
Create-a-Club mode also needs way more variety in kit design templates. Let us be more creative with how we apply colors, not just stick to rigid presets.
And please, let us design our own club badges — or at least let us change the text. If I name my team FC London, why should the badge say EAFC? That breaks immersion.
These kinds of changes would massively improve Career Mode for long-term players who want a more personal and immersive experience.
