Substitution screen freezing… AGAIN!

I can’t even play career mode right now as the substitution screen freezes mid game on XB1 XS and the back button doesn’t work, this has happened before but this time uninstalling and reinstalling the game hasn’t helped. Even the core mechanics are broken, what is going on?!
