I have been having the same gameplay (input delay/lag) issues for months now. I have tried literally everything you can try. I even currently have two ISPs setup at my home. Gameplay on both are exactly the same.
Here are all the things I've tried:
Most of the time, after trying a fix from above, the gameplay would be be better for 1-2 days and then the lag came back. The most recent test of using a different ISP made absolutely no difference. Not sure how to describe the lag but I will post a video soon. It only happens when I connect online to EA FC, even in "kick-off" mode. As long as I don't let the game connect to the servers, the gameplay in "kick-off" mode is fine.
My Connection Quality Report is now a 96 thanks to the VPN. I have an Open NAT. My ping is consistently 6-10 ms. However, the gameplay is terrible when I play online. It used to be occasional, but now the issue is every single game (Squad Battles, Rush, Champions, Rivals, Friendlies).
What else could it possibly be, if not the game? If it's on my end, that's fine. But what on earth could it possibly be?
Crazy. Pretty much as good as you can get and still having issues.
I just had 2 squad battles games in a row against plus 90 teams with high chem, playing on legendary. One after the other.
First game my team was slow, could barely make a tackle, wingers not making runs, centre forward losing the ball every time he got it, on the rare occasion he got free there was delay in him shooting. Opposition much quicker, flying in to sliding tackles non stop, every tackle bouncing back to them.
Next game, it was the opposite. Game was manic, they were pinging in the ball one touch at 100mph, but my players were all a bit manic too. winger running, centres forwards getting free and getting shots in. However, it is totally glitchy like this. Players running through each other, weird animations on first touch where the player freezes, goalkeepers doing triple somersaults after collision, players teleporting across 10 yards.
Nothing in between where you might just find a playable football game.
Oh and basically none of this can be explained by our own ‘connection.’
