Don't play the game man. It's not good for your CPU. After the recent patch the game has become heavily single threaded and unoptimized and it will hammer your single thread to max. The freezes are the result of that. My guess is they half-assedly tried to implement some mad ultra low latency thing under the hood. The game actually feels smooth but the animations are janky from the core and all the visual stuff like hypermotion overlay are super CPU intensive for no god **bleep** footballing reason.
And on top of that, club is partially P2P. So if you're the closest guy to the server you host the server and whoever joins affects you. That's what I guess is happening but I'm not sure, I'm not a game dev. All I know is that game servers are broken and give sync out errors at or near 2~4ms ping.
For 50~100ms the game is bearable borderline.
