Controller Not working

i know my controller is perfectly fine it runs good on any game never had any problems with it However, whenever i play online with my friends or just a public match my controller just stops working. Whenever i click anything it just doesn't register on fc 25 i then go on career and it works perfectly normal I NEED HELP PLEASEEE!!!.
