Lost All FIFA 25 Progress After Account Linking Issue

Hello,  

I want to report a very serious issue I faced with my FIFA 25 account.  
For months I was playing EA FC 25 without any problems on my EA account (EA ID: BenTaylor1104, email: sz.b*****@gmail.com)
 
All my progress, including Ultimate Team, was saved there.  

However, due to an account linking error, my Steam account was suddenly connected to the wrong EA account which I could not access.  
I contacted EA Support and, following their instructions, I had to unlink and relink my Steam account.  

After doing this, I lost ALL of my FIFA 25 progress and in-game profile.  
Support told me that once an unlink happens, progress cannot be recovered.  

This is extremely unfair, because it was not my fault.  
I invested months of time, effort, and money into FIFA 25, and losing everything because of a linking issue has left me very disappointed.  

I kindly ask EA management to review this case and provide a solution or at least compensation for players in situations like mine.  
It is unacceptable that a player can lose everything due to a technical linking issue.

    Hey BenTaylor1104​,

    If your account is linked, there's no way for it to suddenly unlink and relink somewhere else unless you unlink it yourself. It sounds like it was always linked to that old EA account, and that that's where your progress must be since it's stored at the EA account level. I'd recommend relinking your Steam to its original EA account.

    Thank you for your reply.  

    I want to clarify my situation: I had been playing FIFA 25 for months on my EA account (BenTaylor1104).  
    Everything was fine until one day, suddenly, I was asked to verify myself on a completely unknown EA account that I had never created.  

    After that, EA Support asked me to provide a new email to recover the account, and I followed their instructions.  
    I then unlinked my Steam from that account and relinked it back to my original EA account (BenTaylor1104).  

    But after this process, all of my progress disappeared.  

    So I definitely had been playing on my BenTaylor1104 account for months, but now it looks like everything is gone because of this linking/unlinking process that was not my fault.

    I just wanted to check if there is any update on my case.  
    As I mentioned, I had been playing only on my BenTaylor1104 account for months, and I really hope there is a way to verify this on your side.

    We can't look into accounts and see account information here on the forums, so it isn't something I'm able to verify from here. 🙁

    If you unlink and relink your account there is a chance that your progress won't be able to be restored, but your account shouldn't unlink and link somewhere else unless you're explicitly unlinking it.

    Live support may be able to take a look and see if there's anything funky going on with your account. We don't have the tools to do so here on the forums.
