The issue began two weeks ago when the game unexpectedly crashed. Now, every time I try to launch it, the screen turns green and freezes right after the personal settings page. I've already reinstalled the game six times and confirmed my drivers are up to date. Since other, more graphically demanding games run without a problem, I'm confident the issue isn't with my graphics card.
delete your personal setting save and make a new one

Every time I validate it on Steam, it indicates that three files are missing. It downloads them, but when I try to start the game, I have the same issue. When I go back to validate it, I find that there are once again three missing files.
