i completely agree!! the lack of consequence in the league is an issue for me- and due to a smaller number of teams, always ending up fighting for champions league, where that doesn't feel realistic even on the highest of difficulties and the mediocre squads. And additionally, on an international level, also introducing tournaments, with the wwc coming up in brazil next summer, it feels as though international tournaments should be introduced!! Your suggestion w the 2 tiers in the 2 biggest leagues is great on a manager career level as well as a player career level!!
