Congratulations EA, you've killed Ultimate Team for Casual/Mediocre players.

I'm a long-time player but I've never been good. I'm far too busy with two jobs to be able to play a ton, but that's okay - I'd still have fun playing Rivals, Squad Battles, Cups, etc. 

But now - there's nothing left for us. Why not give us more single player modes if you're going to continue to make awful decisions that make online modes impossible? Take some hints from MLB. Add single player modes to keep players having fun and wanting to play the game - and yes, even buy the **bleep** store packs.

Instead, you've made the game impossible for us. The only games modes we can play is Rivals and Squad Battles. And even then, Division 7 is so impossible in Rivals because you have people who don't want to go to Champs. 

Gauntlets? Live Events? Sounds like they'd be fun... right? Nope, cause you play people 9 divisions above you and you get absolutely smoked. If I added up all Live Events/Gauntlets so far, I've probably got 5 wins and been outscored about 582040427945209234 to 19. Why aren't we playing players who at least SOMEWHAT close to our skill? Why do the best players in the world need EASIER games? 

So.... I've got... Squad Battles this year? What's the point of playing Ultimate Team for only Squad Battles? There's nothing for us to even play anymore.

I love that there's a competitive gamplay tag... cause that's something that doesn't exist for mediocre players. It's never been more clear that EA doesn't even want us to play the game. They just want the whales to play while the casuals leave, so they can spend even less on servers. 

It's wild that I've played FIFA/EAFC games for 20 years and this is what pushed me to Football Manager.
