What's Happening in your Career Mode?

Been some time since I've checked in here and it's great to see some Career Mode Stories going again. Miss being apart of the community, unfortunately I don't have the time to keep up with writing about my careers just crack on and play them when I have a chance to actually play. I will certainly be catching up on the stories posted soon.

Anyways, I created this thread for anyone who wishes to share what's going on in their Career Modes without going in depth just wanna keep it brief etc.

Currently I'm doing a Career with Blackpool and it's been bonkers so far. Took over live start in a relegation battle and after a slow start had a ridiculous winning streak and ended up winning The League One Playoffs.

2nd season started off strong in Championship but form slipped however somehow made a late surge into the playoffs and back to back promotions via Wembley it was.

Small budget in Prem was never expecting much and been in a relegation battle all season Currently 18th with 6 games to go and 3 points behind. Maybe back to The Championship, however after fluking our way through The Carabao Cup winning Penalty shoot outs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds against lower league opponents we surprised Man City over 2 legs in the semi finals to set up final against Arsenal. An early go from Blackpool and some lucky defending and we win.

Crazy season, could be relegation, but we have European football next season 🤷‍♂️🤦🤣

Anyways, what's everyone else up to?

Also looking forward to reading through those CMS Threads, last time I came no one was around so am happy to see some of you still going.

I have 2 my first was a fun one with man city its so unrealistic have a front 4 of mbappe raphinhia yamal and haaland i don't even have on high difficulty it's just a fun mess about where can use world class players

Then I have an rtg with oldham only on 2nd season but in league 1 is much harder especially keeping players have had to rely a lot on free agents everytime I plan to build around a player they wanna leave has calmed down a bit now maybe 1 of the updates changed that

I'm probably enjoying this career the most important have in years, been bonkers and fun gutted I haven't been able to go with an in depth CMS.

After winning Carabao Cup had some bad luck with injuries and did in fact get relegated. A season in Championship and Conference League. Not often a team can get relegated and be in a position to strengthen and not lose top players.

Fixture list is gonna kill me tho, how's how December is looking 🤣

Currently doing ok in league actually have 3 games in hand with this fixture pile up

Simming matches are a curse. Don't usually sim matches, but I felt considering it was a Carabao Cup tie and the amount of fixtures I got piling up i thought siming a game against Manchester City would be a guaranteed loss, nope 🤣 we won on penalties,&nbsp; now have an extra 2 fixtures in Jan plus i we threw away a top 8 spot in Conference League so have a playoff to contend with. European football and cup runs do not suit a 46 game season 🤣

I love the idea with a thread like this. I did start FC26 with a few different ideas, I would have liked to share somehow, without making it a big story. One was AIK in the Swedish league. I liked some parts of it, but it always put me off to start in January in stead of July.

I did also have my usual Man United rebuild, actually starting it with a live start point JUST before their current 5 games unbeaten streak began. Glad - for once - to see United doing better than my Career Mode save with them.

I never sim, but I do see why a calendar could be too stacked with 46 league games and European football on top of it. Good riddance 😄
