Career Mode Status Change after Holiday Update - what were the devs thinking?!?

Why did the Holiday Update replace the player status tab that listed the type of prospect you have, and if your player is one of the world's best? Now it says the players willingness to renew, which provides no benefit at all because the players by default don't want to renew. Before the status at least provided useful info. When a player wants to renew, we get an email from them. Why do the EA developers hate career mode so much? No matter how bad they make it, many of us will never play the money-grabbing FUT. Please think about what your fan base actually wants before making stupid changes and fix the status back to how it used to be! 

Here's a simple solution.  The contract status should be under the financial tab, where the contract info is located anyway. Bring back the old status info as it provided very useful information regarding the potential of players, which was key to roster construction and future planning, both of which are now tedious as gamers now have to look at how long it will take for a player to grow in order to know how good they can potentially become.

 Before the update, if a young player lost their status as "Exciting prospect," or "Potential to be special," etc, then their growth will probably stall soon and that means they are more backup material, than starter material. Now we have to guess based on the percentage of value increase and the length of time to increase 1 rating level... extremely tedious without an option to get that info at a glance. This is why the change in the latest update is dumbfounding. It makes no sense. Just add the new field where the contract info is, instead of removing vital info.

P.S. I'm so close to not playing this game anymore, and it's a sad day because I've easily put in more time in the annual release of this game, than all the other games combined. Career mode is no longer immersive or fun. There are too many issues, bugs and failed features. The mode is borderline unplayable. Also, why can't we train set pieces and penalties besides when training is on "Balanced?" Those are probably the easiest things to train in real life, you just need a ball and a goal. You don't even need another player, yet for some reason, the devs made it impossible to train those separately... stupidity all around!
