CPU Defenders

I could use a bit of help from either EA or anyone who has figured this out. There are several issues with the gameplay but my biggest frustration apart from ZERO fouls is how the CPU defenders press. It’s constant, never ending and a terrible strategy. On my side, I’m unable to ever dribble the ball as I at all times have at least 2-3 CPU defenders glued to me as soon as the ball reaches my players feet. I cannot beat them for pace, that’s broken. I cannot dribble by them as they without any effort whatsoever remove the ball from me 100% of the time. But, for them, it leaves way too much open space for me to play the ball in to. Dribbling needs improved, pace needs improved, but for the time being, while I’m playing this very wonky game, does anyone know which SLIDERS or SETTINGS to adjust to get the CPU defenders to chill the F out and defend with some sense? I cannot get my settings right to get them to back off a bit and give me some space to operate. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
