FC 26 Should not remove TIME FINISH SHOOT or keep it as an option like FC 25

Then you are looking at the crowd that are just hating for the sake of it. I've seen many people happy timed finishing is being removed, many people that are happy with a goalkeeper buff, many people that are happy with more manual defending, and improved AI for attacking. Along with more agile dribbling and faster passing, I think they are all good for the life of the game in general.

Of course I've also seen people that are unhappy about such things, but as I've said to you before it's impossible to please everyone, and EA are saying that they are working on the most common feedback they get. So unless the people you see are just complaining on some message board somewhere, they obviously aren't in the majority.

I think the problem is all the feedback I’ve seen is nobody is happy with the changes.  I don’t think anyone wanted ea to remove the skill gap and make it more arcade. 

A few years ago everyone complained about needing to use 99 pace attackers at defense with no defending stats. Now we are trying to go back to the gameplay nobody liked?  

I really hope we don’t go back to 352 spamming lobs and pacing around with emenike while defenders stand around because they can’t deal with the ping pong passing and pace. 

I remove crossplay in every game I play, whilst I would like console only crossplay, I'm happy with just PS player base. The issue with facing PC opponents doesn't just come down to cheating, there are too many variables when it comes PC setup, frame rate, and so on. 

 With timed finishing I think it's that not many people want to focus on that extra button press, and I've seen all sorts of comments about the bonuses to timed finishing. The reality is that they are working off the most common feedback, which means more people complain about it than actually praise it's usefulness. It is also just completely broken. I can use timed finishing, I can do trivelas, I can do speed boosts, and first time through balls etc. I choose not to use them because of how broken they are, that's just my opinion and style of play though. If I'm using something broken by accident I wouldn't know because I don't test these things I just play the game.

I've also seen devs talk about the removal of timed finishing, where they state that if they want to nerf timed finishing, they have to nerf shooting as a whole. It makes more sense to remove it from the game, because in all senses it is more of a nuisance to the game than it is a bonus. Precision shooting is much more viable as a competitive setting, it's much more viable in terms of the number of players willing to use it, and with goalkeepers how they are currently it is a much fairer system for shooting.

Obviously keepers are getting a slight buff in FC26, how big that is remains to be seen, but for me it's an overall improvement as I like having to think to beat a keeper, not just hit a shot with keepers deliberately diving the wrong way or palming it back to me for an easy goal. In all honesty, I hate these ridiculously high scoring games, and they are mainly caused by things in the game that need fixing. Tacklebacks, bouncebacks, and bad goalkeepers are 3 of the worst issues in FC25 outside of broken mechanics.

I too consider timed finishing an important skill. It's a good idea to change shooting abilities depending on whether or not you have timed finishing. It's such a shock to be removed. For me, shooting would be a boring task of just pressing a button. I think it would be nice to have the traditional legacy settings in the shooting settings.

Some people say that timed finishing is easy, but if that were the case, more players would use it. However, my impression is that less than 20% of players use timed finishing. Those in favor of removing timed finishing are probably people who don't use it regularly.

Cheats that exploit timed finishing are just one of many. As long as you play against PC opponents, It would be impossible to fundamentally eliminate fraud.

Based off of what I've seen over the years, the majority of players prefer a more arcade style of play. The problem with doing both for online is splitting people into groups of who is playing what, in one of the videos I watched they wanted to see how feedback goes for FC26, and then possibly find a way to integrate it. I personally have no issues with either as I've dealt with them both over the years, but the slowed down touches and unresponsive passes are a part of what really killed the game this year. If they don't fix that sort of thing for ultimate team where the majority want a faster paced game, it would be extremely bad for the future of FC in general.

People didn't really want to play in ultimate team, which is bad news for EA. With the amount that goes into rights amongst other things, simply selling the game isn't enough to cover what they spend. I'm not defending the way EA have gone about their store over the years, but it is also a vital part to being able to afford to keep the game running. I understand the need for a store and the need to cater for a majority, which if the videos are to be believed, these are the most common pieces of feedback they receive, which in turn is catering for the majority. I know it doesn't help your position and what you want, but unfortunately it's the ultimate truth behind what keeps games alive.

The video looks amazing for offline. It’s like do you love the beautiful game the realism the skill gap ect you get all that offline. It’s like why wouldn’t you just do that for online?

That way people who want to spam skill moves ping pong passing no skill gap arcade can all pick their online and people who want to play the beautiful game could pick their online too. To me this will divide people. They need to tone down the arcade gameplay if they want to bring players back. 

See that's where we differ, I think it looks more positive for online, I know there is some sacrifice of realism but that was never a FIFA thing or an FC thing. PES yeah, that's a game I don't enjoy but it is certainly more realistic. I've played for 16 maybe 17 years at this point, and FIFA or FC are never something I would have called realistic.

I think they are trying to make it two different games but they need to do that for online.  Why force players who want a skill gap and realism to play offline. All we can do is hope that people share their feedback and ea make online a better experience. Right now it doesn’t look good at least for online.

Defenders are getting buffs, but they are also receiving AI nerfs but they are not major nerfs they are to help with the skill gap. 

That's exactly what is wrong with the community in this game. If speed boost is nerfed as they claim, if AI defending is nerfed as they claim, and goalkeepers and manual defending are buffed it only serves to increase the skill gap. I've literally watched 2 videos today with the lead developer talking to people, I get what they want to achieve, and if it comes off then it will be an overall positive for the game. This is literally the last chance saloon for EAFC with me, if it comes out and it's bad, I will say it's bad and I won't be coming back.

Gk need a buff as do defenders but we all know soon as someone can’t score they both get nerfed. 

Yes you are right people don’t want to breakdown the defense or actually have to think about scoring. People just want to face roll ping pong passing get it to a striker hit the speed boost run past the defender as if they are standing still and hitting the shot. 

That’s what makes the highlights and sells games. Not tactical offense with a skill gap.
