The gameplay experience right now is incredibly frustrating, and a lot of that comes down to mechanics that don’t feel fair or rewarding to play against.
These issues happen far too often:
- Players with low pace outrunning attackers with elite pace
- Defenders running through the ball and making “ghost” interceptions
- Tackles bouncing straight back to the opponent—sometimes multiple times in one move
- Passes going wildly off target for no reason
- Defenders leaving their positions and gifting space
- Teams suddenly becoming fully man-marked and unable to pass out from the back late in matches
- Strength and physical battles not matching player attributes
- AI is incredibly stupid. Sometimes just watches a ball they can get and runs away. Dont fight for ball at all.
All of this adds up to a gameplay model that feels inconsistent and manipulated.
The biggest problem is that it often feels like the game punishes better players to keep matches close.
When weaker teams are helped by the mechanics instead of being beaten by skill, the result feels predetermined rather than earned.
As long as better players are losing due to gameplay interference instead of mistakes or tactics, frustration will keep growing. People want a fair experience where skill matters—not one where the game decides outcomes.
This truly is a terrible game. And i see that they are patching Battlefield into the ground as well now.
There seem to be a lack of real gamers at EA. Cause its all focused on greed and not gameplay
