The only consistency in this game is, that it's consistently inconsistent (now chew on that, EA)
This is the only game where you can literally do everything right and still get beaten. Not because the opponent is better, but because the game doesn't let you win. It's not a matter of skills or right choises, but of mechanics that are not working and controls that don't do what you are trying to make em do. The number of passes that end up with a different player than where you are aiming at is embarrasingly high, each button on your game pad does at least once per game nothing or delayed while pushing it.
Passing, good defense, offsides, intelligent runs, tactics, ... they are all fundamentals of modern football, but EA sacrificed ithem all on the altar of the Mbappe/Dembélé counterattack worshipping
