I cannot believe i have had to put this on here... I have tried live chat numerous times but this is where they are pointing me...My son who has autism has made 19 transactions that i did not authorise when i was out of the country for work, he has little understanding of money so he was just putting eafc points on whenever he wanted. i explained my situation to multiple live chat staff and they all have been little to no use. i have all of my invoice numbers. im not sure what else to do as i feel completely powerless, live chat simply do not care. I also tried to escalate to managment to see if they could help only to be told that they do not have a management process!Im hoping a community manager picks this up and resolves this as i have been a ea customer since 2009, they have made their fair share of money from me which isnt a problem... as long as it was me spending my money!If somebody can reach out fast and fix this for me i would appreciate it.

I don’t think there is any fault of customer service here because I made an accidental purchase of FC Points on my account and they refunded me happily for it.You must have used all of your purchased points that’s why they didn’t helped. Never give your child your card details and if your son made 19 payments and used all those points purchased in those 19 transactions then don’t you think that it’s your son’s fault?It’s so easy to blame anyone these days despite of accepting our own fault.

I'm not entirely sure what contacting the bank can do, since he would literally be saying "my son made these transactions", I doubt they will be any more "helpful" than EA would be.I would recommend the same thing I say in all these scenarios, do NOT have your credit card attached to your XBOX if other people are going to be using it.

Yea it is not ideal. I do actually have some good news! A customer support agent on the live chat called Michael F has been super helpful.He himself has not refunded me but he has been so helpful with his answers and i actually do believe he has tried his best! he has said that a customer relations team will be in contact and we should be able to come up with a solution. I will keep this page posted as i want this to serve purpose for other people who have similar issues. Overall the experiance has been bad but i would be very happy if this does atleast get resolved

This has happened a lot. hope you get this resolved. Contacting your bank would also be a good idea.

Sorry to hear this, you must be extremely annoyed and frustrated, not with your Son, but the lack of help you have experienced. I do hope you can resolve it somehow. Hoping EA would step up, unlikely, bit of a lost cause that i'm afraid. Good luck mate.

My son is at fault however he isnt like you and me. He doesnt understand money due to his condition. so a small lapse of judgement has costed me £400 which ofcourse he shouldnt have been able to in perfect world scenario but thats it. wouldnt be dealing with EAs lack of support had this have not occured in the first place
My point was that the money he spent on fake ingame currency was needed as a real world currency. which is a little more important wouldnt you think?
Also not sure how them refunding 1 purchase for you is relevant in the slighest to this situation

You shouldn't have to explain about your Son's condition twice. I understood it on your first comment. The point is, you have a problem and you don't seem to be getting any help whatsoever from EA. I honestly believe a lot of our posts do not get looked at, unless rules are broken. Surely there must be someone who can help ? Good luck.

I'm sorry, I really, really am, but this is NOT a small lapse in judgement

You allowing your son access to your credit card is a HUGE laps in judgement.

Furthermore, and I know you're going to hate this, they shouldn't refund you at all because if they do, all you are doing is going open the floodgates with similar complaints from anyone who spends a lot of money and doesn't get what they want from the game.

Unlike you, I bet the other chap didn't open any packs or spend the currency, so EA refunded him I bet your "son" spent all the FIFA points, which is why they will tell you "sorry about your son, but no refund for you"
