Account banned for different person who had nothing to do with my ban

I got banned in Fifa 17 for buying coins. I bought FC26 on PC and logged in with the same e-mail which was banned. So my new account got permanently closed again. My appeal got denied and I have to accept the fact that it won't open.  Unfortunately my brothers account (who had bought the game right after me), Is also banned. He did nothing wrong, but EA probably banned it because he linked a twitch account of mine to his account. He did this to redeem the FUT Objective reward "link to twitch to receive draft token".  Because he does not have twitch himself, I gave him my account. Unfortunately, my twitch account has the same e-mail address that was banned in 2017. So his account is probably banned because of that.  I have made appeals, but there will probably be no succes. Now my question is, will my brother be able to buy the game (for the 3th time....), without getting banned? And is it plausible that EA will overturn the ban for my brother? It is unfortunate that EA does not specify the reason for the ban so you can alter your behavior.

    fff95d4af388eed2,

I've merged your threads together as they're about the same topic. Again, we can't look into bans here on the forums. Your brother should have received an email with some more information about his ban. I can only redirect him to our terms of service team again.

  • In previous discussions a told about the fact that my brother probably got banned because he used my e-mail (which was banned in 2016) to link a twitch account. He did this so he could get the in game FUT26 bonus of a single player draft token not knowing my e-mail had a ban on it.

He made an appeal which was declined, but they did not specify why he got banned. Now he does not know what he did wrong. He wants to make an appeal, but how can you defend yourself if you literally did nothing wrong and you don't know the reason? EA doesn't help, they just give an automated reply.  I was wrong for buying coins when I was 15 years old in FIFA17. that was like 10 years ago. Now my brother makes an account 10 years later and gets banned for literally no reason he could imagine.

A EA Admin on this forum said that it is highly unlikely that they banned my brother because of a linked twitch account, so what could it be??

Could it be because the game was bought by a key ? What is de reason of the ban? My brother played like 15 hours in game and then got banned, he now wants to buy the game for de 3th time!! But I advised him not to, because maybe he got banned by a complete different reason he does not know.

I hope someone from EA will help me with this problem instead directing me to the appeal forum, because they give an automated reply.

My ban on my account is complete just, because I bought coins when I was 15yo. But my brother has nothing to do with it ahahaha. We just share the same 3000$ computer, but he has his own EA account. could it be that because we use the same pc EA thinks it is a ban evasion? I have no idea...

only that EA customer service is very disappointing. I am absolutely in favor of banning cheaters, but there should be a just dialogue when someone gets banned for absolutely nothing. And there is not, alas.

    Hey fff95d4af388eed2,

While it's doubtful that your brother's account got banned for linking a Twitch account, we can't look into or help with bans here on the forums. It sounds like you've already reached out to our terms of service team, which is good, as they have the power to look into and then either overturn or revoke bans on accounts.
