Additional information.
The EA Connect overlay has a rendering mode issue. In addition to the standard input lag generated by this overlay, every time it is activated for any reason during a match, it causes stuttering, which can even cause stuttering in the network microsystem and cause the Netcode to increase the network smoothing factor.

I suggest giving players the option to disable this overlay within the game as well and allowing manual adjustment of the Network smoothing factor.
