Can’t connect to companion app

I have spoke with EA help multiple times yet they haven’t been able to sort it. whenever i try to log in to the companion app or web app, i get the same error “we are currently having trouble with login services. While we work on it, you can try and log in from your console or PC to get the full football ultimate team experience”. i’ve logged on via console yet there was no change to this error, what can be the issue?
